What’s the story behind the photo below?

was shooting in a nature preserve near sequoia which wasn't all that exciting, but I ended up stopping at an orange shaped hut on the way out for some road citrus. the guy at the counter definitely loved his oranges and shared some wisdom, but in the end his fruit was pretty lackluster.

Any future projects or travels?

not sure when, but i have to get to china soon. i'd love to shoot life on tea farms throughout asia and think its only fitting to start where it all started.

• What’s the story behind the photo below?

It is a part of a series where I pose the question: What is our reaction when we see the pairing of something beautiful with that which can be indicative of a heinous nature? Do we truly question the multitude of possible scenarios or do we revert our thoughts to that of media driven responses? I would like to prompt the viewer to ask themselves how much of their personal nature are they giving over to today’s media regarding topics of 'War & Violence.
