• In 1 word, what do you shoot?
light

• What’s your weapon of choice?
50d /5d/ lica point and shoot

• How long have you been shooting?
2year seriously 5 years on the road w/ old band

• Where do you reside?
they say it never rains in southern California… but it’s raining right now

• What did you eat for breakfast this morning?
I ate my words, with a side of ‘my foot in my mouth’ and a little bit of humble pie to finish it all off. Kanye needs to try that diet.

• B&W or Color?
I have an open marriage. One night I’m in the sack with bw and the next night color… best is a photo threesum

• Film or Digital?
film for art and fun = still looks WAY better than digi
digital for business = faster/ easier / photoshop has been good to me

• Sleep or Eat?
Sleep when I’m dead and eat when I can

• Master Shake or Frylock?
Frylock is the logical choice one so I would have to roll w/him. BUT Master Shake is that lovable A$$hole who makes the whole show funny. Meatwad = no comment. I would really like to be the Mooninites. See image( CLICK HERE )

• Macro, Fisheye, or Telephoto?
Pime lens? If not then the good ol’ 24-70L

• Do you prefer shooting at night or day?
Night and day night and day… read the outliers. the 10,000 hour rule

• What’s the story behind the photo below?
The model’s name is Kaylei (the x’s daughter) She is a natural actress/ drama queen lol at the rip age of 5 she was acting the whole time… we didn’t even have to tell her to look sad she already knew. She would do it by herself for about 2mins then she would burst in laughter and then back in to character again with no instruction. She was great. We went out and had ice cream afterwards.

• Photographers that inspire you?
my business partner Patrick Hoelck, Leibovitz, Ritz, Mondino,
La chappelle (purist hate that answer), Richardson ( for the fact that he took crappy photography and made it cool) , Estavan Oriol ( the big homie), Mannion, Rodger Erickson

• Any future projects or travels?
my book is out… persona of a crook w/ crooks and castles
