This cleverly titled one-man show turns mainstream media's perception of hip-hop on its head. Photographer Trevor Traynor notes the double entendre of "shoot" and uses it to explain his connection to hip-hop and a few of its finest artists. These honest portraits depict varied talent, including the Wu-Tang Clan, E-40, Mos Def, and M.I.A — to name only four subjects of the 175 prints on display. Traynor's "shots" are clear and representative, and even the most dedicated hip-hop skpetics can appreciate the beauty of Traynor's photography.
