In 1-2 words, what do you shoot?

Canon 5DII or Hasselblad 503CW.
Where is your favorite place on earth?
The places I haven't been yet, of course.
What would be your replacement Hobby/Profession if photography was dead?
Realistically? Probably a landscaper. Idealistically? A travel writer.
Swimming with sharks or toiling with alligators?
Sharks are sexier.
What do you favor:
B&W or Color? Color.
Film or Digital? Either.
Studio or Location? Location.
Night or Day? Night.
Portrait or Landscape? Landscape.
Dark Wing Duck or robot chicken? Huh?
What is your most treasured possession?
My cameras. I'm not so into possessions I guess.
Favorite photo book and/or Favorite movie?
Eggleston's 2 1/4.
Photographer/s that inspire you?
William Eggleston, Joel Sternfeld, Nan Goldin, Lee Friedlander, Andres Gursky, Todd Hido, The Polaroid Kidd.
Advice for the younglings out there looking through their first viewfinder?
Shoot, and keep shooting, and then shoot some more. Look at any and all photography you can get your hands on, to help delineate what you like and dislike and why.
What’s the story behind the photo below?
Not much of a story I'm afraid. That car exploded while I was at home cooking dinner. I heard/felt the explosion and knew what it was
from all the car fires that used to happen when I lived in Bed-Stuy. I grabbed my camera and ran outside, it was just down my block a bit.
Some smaller explosions were throwing pieces of the car all the way across the street. There had been 4 car fires on my street in 2 weeks,
but this was the only one I had been around for. I caught it a couple minutes before the fire department did.
Any future projects or travels?
I just finished traveling for almost 5 months. Junk rafts across the Adriatic Sea to Venice, and then riding bicycles/tall bikes through Indonesia and Japan. I'd like to just be at home for a bit at this point. Although I do have to go help my mom pack up her house and move to Florida pretty soon.
