• In 1-2 words, what do you shoot?

What I see

• What’s your weapon of choice?

Canon 5d Mark II

• Where is your favorite place on earth?

My ideal; abandoned city with ballrooms, motels, gas stations etc.

• What would be your replacement Hobby/Profession if photography was dead?

I want to say filmmaker, but I’d probably end up a crazy cat lady.

• Swimming with sharks or toiling with alligators?

Swimming with sharks while toiling with alligators.

• What do you favor:

B&W or Color? Could never favor one!

Film or Digital? I shoot digital, but I also love film!

Studio or Location? Location.

Night or Day? Sunrise sunset.

Portrait or Landscape? Portrait

Dave Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar? Yo’ mama.

• What is your most treasured possession?

My sight! but in terms of material things… I don’t really care for stuff too much. I guess if my house was burning I’d save my camera, mostly because I’d want to shoot the fire as my house was burning down though.

• Favorite photo book and/or Favorite movie?

Favorite movie- Some Like it Hot. Seen it over 30 times and never get sick of it. I know all the words by heart.

• Photographer/s that inspire you?

Right now, Gregory Crewdson, Andrzej Dragan and Erwin Olaf. I love artists with a twisted sense of humor and more so ones that are prepared to take a risk.

• Advice for the younglings out there looking through their first viewfinder?

Find what you love and shoot it ‘till you hate it (although my guess is, if you really love it, you wont ever hate it.)

• What’s the story behind the photo below?

I think what’s cool about this photo is that you don’t actually know what’s going on; there’s this element of mystery to it. I could tell you more about it, but I think I’ll leave you guessing…

• Any future projects or travels?

Got some travel plans coming up, I’m working on a series of images for an upcoming exhibition. Won’t give too much away just yet…
