• What’s your weapon of choice?

Contax T2....The poor mans Leica....took a near fatal spill recently...bandaged up and shooting like a veteran.

• How long have you been shooting?

Since day One....

• Where do you reside?

San Francisco.. Bay Area.. Lower Haight...District 5

• What did you eat for breakfast this morning?

Breakfast at 2:30 p.m. Eggs, Bacon, Hashbrowns, english muffin, 3 pancakes, 2 cups of coffee..grown man meal.

• B&W or Color?

B&W got that esthetic that does it for me. Color can substitute.

• Film or Digital?

analog

• Sleep or Eat?

Same time?

Back Seat Bingo...

Somewhere in the middle

same as above...somewhere in between...

Cold Blooded, thick skinned and laid back.

WeeGee, Arbus, Burtinsky, Chalfant, Nachtwey, Sternfeld, Newton, Owens, Goldin, Bresson, Larry Clark, Bill Daniel, Mary Ellen Mark, Levitt, Goldberg, Marcopoulos, Sulton...so many. All my talented friends.

• Any future projects or travels?

• In 1 word, what do you shoot?

Me

• What’s your weapon of choice?

I have a few…Nikon D70, both a Mamiya 645/6x7, and a Pentax 645.

• How long have you been shooting?

I have been doing photography for 8.5 years, but shooting for publications for a little over 3 years.

• Where do you reside?

San Francisco

• What did you eat for breakfast this morning?

A donut from “Happy Donuts” Yum.

• B&W or Color?

Ooooh tough one, depends on the subject, but since I have to chose B&W.

• Film or Digital?

Ooohh FILM all the way baby. Analog for sure.

• Sleep or Eat?

Eat

• Do you prefer shooting at night or day?

Day

• What’s the story behind the photo below?

It’s a Polaroid from an old school Polaroid camera. It’s made a revival in my life. I love the 70’s color quality you get from polaroids.

• Photographers that inspire you?

Philip Lorca-DiCorcia, Jamel Shabazz, Jill Greenberg, Bruce Davidson, Carrie Mae Weems, Gordon Parks, Bruce Webber, Martha Cooper, Katy Grannen, Nadar, Advertising: Stan Musilek, Mark Zibert. I could go on forever.

• Any future projects or travels?

I have a self-portrait series I am currently working on titled “Family Portraits,” but I play every character in the family. Plus, I have a few “Beauty” portraits series in the works. I want to travel LA more and I want to hit NY in the Fall.

• In 1 word, last thing you’d say if time stopped right NOW?

- First off My Father. Cartier-Bresson, Roy Decarava, Sebastio Salgado, Joe Conzo, William Claxton, Lee Friedlander, Capa, Gordon Parks....etc..etc... and you TREV!
