Advice for the younglings out there looking through their first viewfinder?

As a disclaimer there are no rights and wrongs in creativity…
With that said, the key to shooting and art in general is striking the balance between CONCEPT and FORM. Concept being what your idea is and the form are your elements of style and technical abilities. Find the middle ground and you’re drope.

Any future projects or travels?

Im currently working a mischief series that contains unfinished narratives of ridicules scenarios. As for my travels Ill be heading to Amsterdam in the spring to do some shooting, but Ill have to show you that later.

What’s the story behind the photo below?

This is a heavy photo composite of 5 images. Each puzzle piece was shot separately then merged together in photoshop. It was shot on location in an abandon grey hound station down in SOMA.
As for what it means? Its up to you as the viewer.

Where can we see more of your work?

Williamperls.com and I also have a feature this month in inGen magazine.

Never stop shooting. Even if you don't have your camera with you, always be composing with your eyes.

There are destinations I'd love to go to (any where in South East Asia and/or back to Taiwan) but no tickets have been booked as of now so I'll probably just drive up Highway 1 and see where it takes me. As for future projects... I got a few in the works but if I told you, I'd have to kill you. ;o)

Dujeous Live Monday Nov 9th @ CODA in SF

I will be at the Coda lounge next monday with fam - DUJEOUS!!!
please come out and support this band is dope!!!

Dujeous has performed in North America, Europe, and Asia, with the likes of Kanye, Busta, 311, Funkadelic, John Legend, Mobb Deep, and countless others. Word of their instrumental and production prowess spread has led to some serious collaborations. They've played for Mark Ronson, Lily Allen, Al Green, and Lauren Hill, and produced for Dip Set, Saigon, and Keith Murray. There's a reason Mark Ronson called Dujeous "New York’s only hip-hop band worth talking about."
