That’s hard…Paris was beautiful when I visited…but maybe Philadelphia, PA, that is where I say I will retire.
• What would be your replacement Hobby/Profession if photography was dead?
A Fashion Designer…I would have to strengthen my sewing skills though!
• Dave Chappelle or David LaChapelle?

Portrait or Landscape?
I love them both; both can be equally breath taking
Spike Lee or Spike Jonze?

• What is your most treasured possession?
My first instinct is to say my Hasselblad but I think it’s really all my old albums with photographs of friends and family.
• Favorite photo book and/or Favorite movie?
My favorite photo book was this book of my mother’s about New York… I wish I knew the name of it. It was most likely from the 70’s or early 80’s, full of black and white photographs documenting New York life; when I was a kid I would spend hours looking though it. It’s one reason I love documentary photography. My favorite movies are Pulp Fiction & Back to the Future I or II not III.
• Photographer/s that inspire you?
I actually know these guys but non-the less I love their work:

• Advice for the younglings out there looking through their first viewfinder?
Take pictures of anything that inspires you. Learn the technical aspects of photography/lighting too...it'll save you a lot of hardship in the end and make your work so much better, study other people’s work that you like! As a teacher I had said "break down the picture and figure out how they did it."
• What’s the story behind the photo below?
Sometimes I work as a set photographer it is one of my favorite things to do. The picture below is of Matthew Martin from the set of the movie Baby Jane?; where all the main actresses are actually drag queens (Baby Jane? is parody of the 1962 movie What Ever Happened to Baby Jane).
• Any future projects or travels?
My next travel plans are a backpacking trip down in SoCal, a trip to Seattle and an East Coast visit.

• In 1 word, last thing you’d say if time stopped right NOW?
I wish, I would have been out of bed and gotten dressed before time stopped.
