• What’s your weapon of choice? Currently, believe it or not, the canon G11, also a hasselblad- elx, the first 5D, a twin lens yashica and a 4x5 pinhole, all waiting to be caressed again in the future.

What is your most treasured possession? A new Andrew Zuckerman animal puzzle that I had been wanting for a while.

• Photographer/s that inspire you? right now San Francisco street Art but also, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Andy Goldsworthy, The Starn Twins, Robert and Shauna Park Harrison, Michal Chelbin, Alfredo Jaar, Din Q Lee and David Hockney to name a few…..
• Advice for the younglings out there looking through their first viewfinder? Your first thought is probably your best, listen to what your soul has to say.
• What’s the story behind the photo below? Well, this is a bit different from what I do with photography, I did this for my text and image class. I wanted to address culture and immigration from a Mexican perspective. It was created last year “ironically” in worked for targeting our current problem in Arizona…… It was destiny….
• Any future projects or travels? Yep, I have some things going on…. I was just invited to do a show with some street art cats at Hotel Biron for the beginning of July (check their site in July (www.hotelbiron.com), I’m also working on a photo journal from my wife and my experience to South America, some conceptual projects and also working out the new exhibition destination for our art collective
